 The Place Lives began as childhood friends Evan Cook (Guitars, Vocals) and Evan Lynch (Production, Drums, Vocals). The two artists combined tastes of Post-Rock and Slowcore curated the band’s ambient and cinematic sound. As the band continued to evolve, friends Nick Morretti and Brandon Beckley were recruited to help perform their debut release golden. The Place Lives formally introduced themselves with the singles “flora” and “pulsar”, the songs being an accurate representation of the weightless sensation golden provides listeners, alongside four other tracks to anticipate for the lush and ethereal “Space Rock” elements of The Place Lives.
